I’m not a fan of pretty boys, and though B2ST’s Lee Ki Kwang falls on the pretty rector scale, I’ll make an exception. The former solo singer has one smoking body and not to mention a sweet, love-able face. When he was a solo artist, I paid no attention to AJ but when they stuck him in a group filled with mediocore cuties, he stands out like a big ole’ thumb and I wouldn’t mind hanging out that thumb. U-KISS’s Dongho confided about his brutal training at Saipan. On the February 6th broadcasting of KBS 2TV Invincible Baseball Team, Dongho participated on the Saipan training camp and felt like he has just came out from hell on the next day, and he overslept after the training had finished. Dongho, who couldn’t get up, was sitting on his bed and complained “So tired. This is more tiring than going to school.” This year, Dongho will be attending his 1st year of high school. On the Invincible Baseball Team’s Saipan training camp, the players had to challenge 90% accuracy on the defense training. All the inner defense players (Marco, Oh Ji Ho, Mario, Jo Bin, Kim Sungsu, Kim Changryul, Dongho) failed to hit the 90% accuracy but the outfielder (Han Min Gwan, Kim Jun, Lee Haneul) successfully meet the target. Meanwhile on this episode, Invincible Baseball Team had their first international match against local Saipan’s Baseball Team. Kim Sunghwan director joined in as a special comment

It’s been confirmed that hallyu star Choi Ji Woo will be throwing the first pitch for the game between Korea’s Lotte Giants and Japan’s SoftBank Hawks, taking place at the Fukuoka Dome in Japan on February 28th.Choi Ji Woo, who is currently serving as the PR ambassador for the city of Busan, quickly rose to fame in Japan after appearing in the drama Winter Sonata along with fellow actor Bae Yong Joon (Yon-sama). As she is an esteemed actress with die hard fans in both Korea and Japan, this game is expected to draw a huge number of Choi Ji Woo fans from both countries. When I lived in South Korea, I did not know much about cooking. My cooking skills were limited to grilled cheese sandwiches and the occasional one-pot meal, usually featuring a couple of chicken breasts thrown in a rice cooker with two cups of rice mixed with random spices thrown in for flavor. The last three months or in Korea, we had a Korean woman who made lunch for us every day. When she wasn't making Korean foods like japchae, she was making some kind of Korean fusion recipe (with interesting results). When she made Bolognese sauce for us, I though the diced carrots were a Korean innovation. It wasn't until much later I discovered spaghetti Bolognese and realized why the carrots were there. A hot new 5-member band called Sponge Band will be debuting soon. And with a name like that, who could possibly hate them?With all due seriousness though, they sound really good – kind of an F.T Island vibe, but what’s even more interesting is that they’re a co-ed group! There’s definitely a lack of co-ed groups in k-pop lately, so I’m pretty excited about this one.Sponge Band’s first mini-album will be titled, “The Beginning” and it will drop on February 19th. From soccer to Starcraft, sports and kpop have mingled quite a bit in the past. It’s been revealed that U-Kiss’s Eli and Rainbow’s Seung Ah have been invited to MBC ESPN’s upcoming show for the F1 Grand Prix racing derby.On this show, various celebrities will learn, train and possibly participate in the race. For the first episode, which will be broadcast next week, Eli, Seung Ah, gagman Han Min Gwan and others will receive lessons about international licenses and safety regulations from actor (and racer, apparently) Lee Se Chang .This certainly isn’t your typical variety show, so it’ll definitely be something interesting to watch.
